Hi all just wanted to check in. My last post was from Qatar, that was a long flight. The first leg to London wasn't bad I've done that before. The second leg to Qatar was long. I wll give another airline plug though Qatat Airways treats you pretty good, all of coach is buisness class, moniters in the headrests, on demand movies and shows. I watched 3 movies ate good food. and the best part free booze. So it was good.
Afganastan doesn't seem to be to bad, definately not as hot as Iraq. I'm in the mountains so its alot like home other than a few smells. it rained sometime when i was sleeping.
i live in a hooch. its like a plywood one car garage then has small rooms sectioned off in it. Everyone has differant work and sleep schedules so its light and noise dicipline in the hooch. I have a lamp and a small flashlight. I wont even describe the bathroom or showers. OMG. other tham its a walk to get to either. Well I just wanted to say Hi, I'm alive and well. Miss you all

A Hooch?? Is that like booze? Thought that was from the Viet Nam era. Ran into wife and daughter yesterday at Walmart. Said they were picking up stuff for you and that you had your own "hooch". What, did you get a promotion to sand admiral all ready? Let me know what you need and I'll rally the golf course guys for a care package.
