Great Day

Hi all,

Just a note to say Hi! Had a minute and was thinking about everybody. Been keeping up with the golf course through Steve and Joe. Haven't hit a ball since that picture I sent. It was fun but too short a time and besides the golf clubs we used are currently back in Florida.

I was looking at SHGC web page looking at the events calender and just realized how much I've missed. Hopefully the summer continues to Fly by and I'll pick it up next summer.

I have been keeping in touch with my XO at home unit in Denver. I received a nice surprise the other day. I was JDET Denver's nominee for the Julian Cooper mentor and leadership award. The nomination was pushed forward and I was selected as the US Southwest region nominee for the national selection board. So need less to say i was honored that my peers and Navy Leadership had confidence in me for the nomination. I was pretty stoked about the nomination. Well every body take care and I'll be in touch.

God Speed

Jim
